It is often said that politics is like war. It seems that Monroe is old enough to remember his Confederate history. After all, he is a Southern born turtle from Lake Tuberville Georgia. When political ideas get in direct conflict, it isn’t beyond imagination that some fur might fly. So based on Monroe’s wisdom and age, we are reminded that today’s political acrimony is really tame in perspective.

Clueless At The Capital
As the campaign battle starts, Bucksnort is trying to figure out why the electorate is down on his case. He wants to understand why the voters don’t seem to understand him, after all he’s first and foremost a public servant. Thus begins the fall classic “tug of war” between the teed-off and the clueless.
The Smell Of Victory?
The grass roots stealth campaign has taken on an oder of it’s own. A little mud slinging would be a welcome change to what the boys are bringing to this party. We will just have to follow Monroe’s lead and hold our noses and hope it rains soon.
