That bird does have a substantial seed cruncher. On a completely side note, you might appreciate the fact that my favorite actual bird to watch is the Carolina Wren. They are so much fun to watch either hanging off of my suet feeder or spreading out and sunbathing on our deck railing. Fortunately, South Carolina and Georgia share a lot of the same bird species.

Gotta agree! Wrens are such characters, as well. They make their nests is such unusual places! Even in the pocket of an old raincoat that was hanging up outside. We left a straw hat on the front porch for awhile and sure enough, a wren made a nest in it and raised chicks. We even watched them learn to fly.

Some others I like are goldfinches, house finches, titmice and chickadees. Oh! And bluebirds too!
