Our adventure between a rock and a crazy place continues into the New Year. This double sized strip celebrates our first five months of Bug Pudding comics. I’m convinced that Rockford eventually will drive Agile screaming off into the vapors, but perhaps an alliance can be forged toward rescuing Agile’s mysterious friends. The main obstacle at this point seems to be a matter of transportation. Here’s wishing you all a Happy 2010 and I’ll be back on Tuesday with more Pudding.

Panel 1
Agile:
I’m talking to a rock … I’ve lost my mind!
Rockford:
Might be easier to find a flea on a gnat, relatively speaking.
Panel 2
Agile:
I’m not related to those kinds of bugs!?
Rockford:
You been using your brain pan to scramble eggs, lately?
Panel 3
Agile:
My friends need help. You good for anything other than growing moss?
Rockford:
I hold my ground in a fight and I’ve been known to open doors if properly launched. But my strong suit is in eavesdropping. I have a way of listening in on conversations without attracting much attention.
Panel 4
Agile:
So basically you’re just a rock.
Rockford:
You stumble upon that concept naturally? Or are you reading your lines off of cards?
Panel 5
Agile:
You willing to help, or not?
Rockford:
You offering transportation?
Panel 6
Agile:
You mean you can’t walk by yourself?
Rockford:
What part of this “basically you’re a just a rock” concept are you having a problem wrapping you melon around?

I’m memorizing Rockford’s awesome put-downs and insults for future personal use.
Happy New Year JK!
Much appreciated Marty and right back at you on that Happy New Year!
Knowing Agile as well as you do, I know you are getting a special joy out of watching him come to grips with Rockford. It’s like looking in a magnified mirror of his own personality. I can’t wait to see what happens when the two of them gang up on some poor schmo like Monroe.
